• All Diamond Jewellery products are certified by IGI - International Gemological Institute - the world's largest laboratory for certification of diamonds and fine jewellery and have BIS hallmarking. 

The Importance Of Certification for Diamonds and Diamond Jewellery

The value of diamonds is decided on the basis of it's 4C's - Cut, Carat, Color and Clarity. Hence, it's very important that these characteristics are perfectly graded. However, since each diamond is unique and diffferent from the other, there can be variations in the grading done by each person. So, it is important that a loose diamond or diamond jewellery is certified by a reputed, third-party laboratory.

For loose diamonds, the most reputed and popular labs are GIA, IGI and HRD. For diamond jewellery certification, IGI is one of the most widely used and has the highest standard of grading. All diamond jewellery products sold by Sarvada Jewels are certified by IGI - we trust only the best.

While plenty of other independent labs exist, some are a bit lax in their assessments of diamond quality and do not command the same respect for consistency and quality of grading.

HRD Antwerp's primary shareholder is the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC). The AWDC is a private foundation established in 1973 as the Hoge Raad voor Diamant (HRD) or Diamond High Council and represents the Belgian diamond industry.

The HRD Antwerp diamond lab is one of the largest diamond lab in the world that issues reliable diamond grading and jewellery reports fully compliant with the rules for grading polished diamonds set by the International Diamond Council (IDC).
